Cheap hotels in Ban Bang Chak

This is the best experience we have had in Thailand. Located in a quiet part of the island, with a stunning view of the sea and islands. Close to restaurants and a yoga retreat. But the most important thing is the staff, especially the owners. We really felt at home there. The bungalow is perfect: super cozy, clean, and well-maintained. Good selection of motorbikes. Excellent breakfast and a good restaurant for lunch or dinner. Fast and efficient laundry service.

I stayed a week. Left wanting more. Spectacular sunsets, view of the bay. Clean and quiet and so calming. More than a mere bonus: this lodge has the best cook on the island.

The owner is a sweet heart! She will do anything to feel you good. You get a lot form the money you pay. Rooms are clean with comfortable bed and fresh towels. You can rent the scooter right on the spot or walk to the beach or restaurants. Also tours are available right there at the hotel. The island is greatly affected by tides - so check the tide carts before heading to the beach ;)

My stay was exceptional! Jeena and Denny are suxh kind, helpful hosts. The bungalow was so spacious, comfortable bed and hot water, and surprisingly minimal bugs to deal with! In the mornings it’s so peaceful to watch the hornbills, and short walk to some restaurants, batik painting workshop and beaches. Renting a scooter is recommended to really explore the island, however Denny is so kind and took me around personally because I couldn’t drive a scooter!

We loved everything about this bungalow. It really feels like a private villa with gorgeous scenery surrounding it. It’s quiet so you only hear some birds sometimes, we saw a couple monkeys walking around the property too since you’re surrounded by jungle. It gets cool at night so no AC wasn’t a problem and it was actually really nice to have the windows open and fresh air all night. Poom was a great host and runs a tour company as well so she was able to book things for us and give us information about the island. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There’s a water jug to refill water bottles in the room which is always an added bonus when travelling! We rented a scooter which Poom (host) also helped us with the first day and the location of the bungalows is perfect, there’s a coffee stall right down the hill (less than a minute walk) which was amazing! The beach is probably a 10 minute walk and a 2 minute scooter ride and there’s restaurants and shops right there as well. This was our favourite stay so far in all of our Thailand travels!! A super relaxing getaway, for the price we felt spoiled to have such an amazing place and we’re so sad to leave.

The staff is so friendly and take really good care of you. Breakfasts are very delicious and generous. The location is quite central and close to several beautiful beaches.

We came for 3 days and ended up staying 10. Wonderful island, great location, very nice bungalow. The staff is very helpful, offering nice tips to have the best time you can have on your island. You can rent scooter, boat trips, anything you could need right from the Bungalow.

A very authentic Thai-style house surrounded by the island’s wild nature. Extremely quiet and cozy atmosphere. The staff is the best — caring, polite, and incredibly friendly. We truly felt welcome and taken care of.

The room was so cozy, and had the most breathtaking view! It was so peaceful, the breakfast taste delicious, everything was clean, beautiful nature, and Khun Don and Khun Nu and family took exceptionally good care of me! A place that you will always choose to come back to :)

Absolute gem, we had one of the bungalows in the front with a gorgeous view. The place is new and really clean. Our hosts were super welcoming and attended to anything we needed. There is no lack of water bottles here and the breakfast in the mornings were beautifully made and delicious. We were treated to wildlife sounds at night and pretty sunrises in the morning. The location is close to everything (the island itself is very small) but definitely a scooter helps - we rented a scooter right at the pier and someone brought our luggage to this hotel for 100 baht

Everything about this place was fantastic

I stayed here for 3 nights. The bangalow is simple and peaceful with the garden view. The owners are welcome and kind. They grow their fruits here. The room is comfortable and reasonable with the price. It's not far from the nice beaches, you can walk for 10-15 minutes however you might need a bike or motorbike to reach to the beaches comfortably.

Location was fabulous! Breakfast was abundant and delicious.

Great wifi, very clean and comfy

The location was stunning. Fatina was very helpful. The little cafe next door was a gorgeous place to have breakfast. The room I stayed in was very comfortable and I loved the porch area. Very convenient for motorbike hire and help with onward transport arrangements.
