Cheap hotels in Kibigija

We enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff we met were very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was tasty, as were the other meals we had. The bed was comfortable, with mosquito nets and air conditioning. There's plenty of storage space in the room. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. We appreciated that the hotel supports a school for children with disabilities which is on the same compound.

Back side pool is excellent. Close to the beach. Delicious buffet breakfast. Great dinner (a la carte). Recommend to take half board, you will like it. Nice game area: billiard, table tennis, table football...

Great room, good restaurant, exceptional service, right in front of the beach. Would come any time.

The property and location are beautiful. It’s set away from the busier areas of Jambiani and Paje, but is a relatively short walk to each of these places. There are lots of comfortable loungers for the pool and beach, all with umbrellas. There is also a sandy area with tables and chairs where people can lounge/play cards/have a drink. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The AC and wifi worked great. The restaurant on the property has excellent Italian food and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The breakfast that was included was also very generous and delicious. Our favourite part of our stay was the incredible staff and family that run the place. They made us feel at home during our entire stay and we are very grateful to them. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Charming and quiet boutique hotel with 2 pools. The hotel is well maintained and extremely clean. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. Great water pressure (which is not always the case in the island). Delicious breakfast (I loved the avocado toasts). Only 1 minute away from the beach with nice bars / restaurants around. Also a lot of delicious local restaurants in the village only 10 minutes away by walk. The staff is really friendly and welcoming and helpful. Everything was great, starting from the bungalow, cleaned everyday by super nice ladies, always doing for us real art from towels and flowers on the beds, the bathroom was big and clean. We had a lot of fun by the pool, the minute we arrived to the pool nice guy from stuff came with pool towels for us, there was a ball to play with. The reception guy was so nice, always wanting to help, arranging for us airport transfers and checking island tours for us. Not to mention restaurant - food is so good - fresh, delicious. We've had breakfasts included in reservation and it was the best breakfast possible - always had plate of fresh and juicy fruits, juice or smoothie, coffee or tea, pancakes with chocolate or jam, eggs in every variant possible - fried, scrambled, with vegetables, with sausage, toasted bread, fries with rosemary, and my personal favorite - chapati. Other meals were also great - very nice seafood platter, seafood pizza and chapati wrap with beef meat - those I really recommend.

Host and his wife were really hospitable. Room was cleaned regularly. Interior is beautifully designed. AC inside. Many windows with mosquito nets. We loved our personal terrace. It was nice to have a breakfast there. Kitchen is fully equipped. It was pleasure to cook fresh fish almost every evening. It's not so far from white sand beach with amazing views. Close to Paje where a lot of cafes and shops. Local WiFi was incredibly fast. There is shared washing machine. It is really important thing if you stay more than a week. This is perfect place for long-term stay in that part of island. I would say - this is the best money/quality choice you can find. I would definitely come back to this calm place again.

We were lucky to discover this beautiful place that became our home for a while! Very quiet, beautiful garden, with an amazing team and everything you may need while living. Next to the ocean, close to Paje and Jambiani at the same time, but hidden in the bushes. 💚 Not a single problem with electricity, water, wi-fi, which is the key factors on the island. It is also very safe place with high quality protection on the whole territory. Our cats were happy to stay as well, and meet Baobab cutie-cats! Barbara was highly reactive to anything we needed during our stay, very loving and became our family.🤍 Coming back to Zanzibar we will definitely stay at Baobab.

Beautiful paradise like setting within the walls of the property. Aside from an older older stove/oven, everything was modern and immaculate. We loved the pool (quite clean at all times) , which sat right outside our apartment. Complimentary breakfast ( recommend veggie omelet) was very good. It was just a 250-meter walk down a quiet sandy road that led through the trees to a quite beautiful and natural beach where you were immersed with the local population/kids.

The team are great, offer to get food delivered if you want, organize trips and are knowledgeable and helpful, very good English spoken

Location is amazing, the villa was just at the beach with a nice view and access to the beach, amazingly beautiful, also it has a nice private swimming pool. Great place and the services were great, the staff were just a second away, our stay was great.

This is a lovely little hotel run by the extremely capable and omnipresent Madalina- who ought to be CEO of whatever company owns this hotel. She runs a very tight ship and it shows. Everything is spotless and your wish is her command. Highly recommend.

Everything really, well located right on the beach. Beautiful space, feels like a boutique hotel. It is small & intimate, boasting about 7 villas I think meaning there’s never more than 7 groups of people. The space is cozy, rustic and modern all at once. The staff is very attentive, helpful & kind. The restaurant food was amazing especially the breakfast.

The location is amazing. On a sleepier stretch of the southeast coast, between Paje and Jambiani. Less than 10 min walk on beach to many great restaurants, including Scooby Doo and Duyen. Staff is very nice and accommodating; they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Rooms are spacious and clean, with stunning ocean views and sounds at high tide. Great value. None of that pretentious resort feel, but with everything you need.

I had an incredible stay at Leparadis Zanzibar, where the friendly and attentive staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The food was absolutely exceptional, with each meal surpassing expectations—especially the Swahili chicken curry. The hotel's rooftop bar offered breathtaking views of the ocean, making it the perfect spot to unwind at sunset. Overall, this hotel is a perfect blend of excellent service, delicious cuisine, and stunning natural beauty.
