We loved this place: it was probably the nicest (and most spacious) room during our 4-week journey in Japan. The staff was very friendly. The bar/kitchen staff was exceptionally nice and prepared the best coffee we got in Japan. The traditional Japanese-style breakfast set was also delicious. We stayed one night in Onomichi as a starting point for the biking tour Shimanami Kaido, and we can only recommend it.

Staff were friendly and so accommodating; there was adequate space to store bags prior to check-in; there were lots of toiletries and items of convenience; the view was pleasant looking out over the hills; the location was so handy being right above the train station.

Located in Onomichi, 15 miles from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, BONAPOOL provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

We stayed one night during our 2-day biking tour on Shimanami Kaido. Location was perfect: close to some good restaurants and basically on the bike route. We stayed in a mixed dorm, which was very clean and well-organised. Common shower rooms were very clean. The luggage transfer to our next stop (which was the bike rental in Imabari) worked perfectly.

Conveniently set in the center of Hiroshima, Hilton Hiroshima has 5-star accommodations close to Myoei-ji Temple and Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center.

What an exceptional place to stay and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The Hotel is not far too far from Hiroshima Train Station so after getting off the bullet train, an easy bus ride or taxi. It is also not too far from the Hiroshima Pease Memorial, so very accessible. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and extremely welcoming. We were located on the 16th floor and had fantastic views across Hiroshima. The room was larger than expected, had everything we could have wanted and was absolutely beautiful. The bar area is amazing with a great selection of cocktails. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, could not have been better nor provided more options (you just want to keep eating). No expense has been spared to make this an amazing world class hotel. We really felt pampered. I do however have a negative.....I wish we had stayed here longer (we only had one night). They do really look after you and I cannot recommend this Hotel enough.

Great, modern, lovely hotel. Wonderful helpful staff who helped us understand getting the ferry in the morning to the island. Lovely food in the restaurant. Really great rooms and appreciated the little animal jellies.

A small hotel in a residential neighborhood which allows you to see how ordinary citizens of Hiroshima live. I enjoyed this more than a hotel in a commercial zone. It's location is still very convenient for a visitor. It's about a 2 minute walk to a streetcar stop which will quickly get you to most tourist destinations. A 7-11 and Family Mart are also very close by. The lady who runs the check-in desk was exceptionally helpful. She has basic English skills and a clever translation gadget for more complex help. She was able to sell me a day pass for the streetcar system along with a combination streetcar and ferry pass to visit Miyajima Island. If you want to escape the usual commercial hotel experience this place may be a good choice for you.

Drop Inn Tottori is located in the center of Tottori city, only a 5-minute walk from Tottori Station and a 3-minute walk from Tottori Station Bus Terminal.
