For such low price in quite remote location I wasn't expecting much, but our expectations were way exceeded! This is so nice place to stay: - very clean - warm and welcoming host - a lot of equipment to prep the food - rooms are nice, spacious and clean - Grocery store is nearby - We got tasty cake in the morning! I highly recommend this place!

The hostel was perfect. Simple but clean and comfortable accommodations. There isn't much in Unstad so if you want to cook at the hostel which has a fully equipped kitchen, the closest grocery store (SPAR-Borg) is about 15 minutes away. I'd recommend stopping there on your way into Unstad. The owners are around and easily accessible. If they're not then the staff of the surf shop downstairs are super helpful too. It is easy walking distance to the beach and surf break. Surf has everything you need for chilly arctic surf!

Location close to centre, kitchen has everything, host is very responsive, friendly, and helpful. One thing we find a little inconvenient is the missing of a holder for toiletries in the shower room, but everything else is perfect. Thanks for making us feel at home!

Great location, place and owners. Unfortunately only crushed for the night in one of the worst winter storms past 30 years in North Norway and hence unable explore the surrounding of the accommodation. It was our 10th visit to Norway and again unable see Saltstraumen this time staying next to it b/o the weather., Would stay again and recommend to other.

We spent 10 days on the Lofoten and we had the best dinner there! Amazing breakfast and the bread is so yummi! The rooms are a bit small for the prize but you can easily manage it. It worth it to drive all the way to Nyksund.

The dinner was the best we have had in Norway and it was wonderful to be one tiny part of preserving the history of such a beautiful place. We walked to the sculpture garden at our hosts recommendation and we were cozy inside while the wind blew and the sea crashed under the docking in the night.
