We had a wonderful stay at Por Arak! Quiet, great location, really good options for breakfast, fruit, water, coffee, tea and snacks available all day/night, comfortable bed, good tv, clean and nice room, and most of all the staff were all helpful and kind!!! Great boutique hotel. Comfortable, pleasant, and clean. Good shower. Big TV. Good curtains for anyone who wants to sleep in late. Cool pool! The staff is great and doing everything to help you – they helped with everything I asked for, including changing room and a late check-out.

The staffs are super awesome and friendly! The location was perfect as it was close by to tonnes of stuff but not noisy and disturbing at all! The amenities are fantastic , with free breakfast and water for anytime consumption! I love POR and will definitely be back again!

We had a great time. The staff was super polite and friendly. The hotel is nice, clean and it's located in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was ok. Unlimited water, refreshing drinks and coffee was definitely a plus. We also enjoyed the swimming pool a lot!

Really liked the rooms, very spacious, well equipped. Breakfast was really good, we loved being able to grab water as and when we needed it from the fridges downstairs, same with being able to use hot water 24/7. We didn’t use the pool as we had a lot of day trips but it looked really good. Location is excellent too! 15 min walk from the Saturday and Sunday night markets, as well as the night bazaar

The breakfast buffet is extensive and caters for many different tastes. There's also a "cereal" bar that is available all day for a little snack along with some yogurt, cookies, Thai sweets, coffee and teas. I was upgraded to a suite which was very much appreciated and I enjoyed the private, deep bathtub on my terrace. The suite also had a small kitchen and coffee/tea making equipment--they even provided free water and milk! All of the staff were very nice and welcoming. I enjoyed the sunset on the rooftop with the (small) swimming pool and also used the bikes (they even have helmets!!) early one morning to go see the nearby temple at sunrise with the monks taking alms and chanting. I would stay here again!

The detail in the decor, the feel of the space as you walk in, giving it an authentic feel if Thai in the accommodation. Two ladies who assisted us, Mih and Lek (hope I didn't get your names too wrong), were wonderful with guiding us, speaking us through things, arranging an early morning taxi pick up for us when we left, their humility and call to serve evident and so much appreciated through our engagements when we spoke and attempted to joke between one another, a really warm and friendly feel they created for us with our engagements. The room was beautiful, had all you needed for a comfortable stay, amenities as advertised, breakfast was lovely with variety in Thai dishes for breakfast across the days. Safe location and central to move in and around the old town, and waking distance to other areas beyond the old town city walls if you choose to walk. Restaurants, aplenty, along with temples through the old town, night markets in walking distance including the Bazar and Saturday and Sunday night markets respectively. Close to the airport too, convenient drive by taxi or Grab ride. Thank you Mih and Lek to you and your team who took care of us and made our honeymoon special through your efforts! Would gladly recommend and enjoy another stay here if we are able to visit again in time.
