This was by far the best place we stayed at in Kerala! The entire staff was very kind and welcoming, and it is visible how well they work as a team. The service was excellent, the rooms are spacious, sparkling clean and high quality finishes and furniture, and the entire building is designed with the best taste for architecture and interior design. Congratulations and hats off to the owners! Besides the accommodation, the landscape of the garden is inviting and relaxing, having kept the original trees layout and hence the nests of all kinds of birds that enchant you with their symphony before the sunrise. We had access to the pool in the evening after our arrival and it was very relaxing. There were also some fireflies flying over our heads while swimming. Food was extraordinary! Such unusual flavours we could have never imagined...We had kingfish with curry & lemon rice & aloo gobi masala - simply delicious. We had the privilege to meet the cook herself :) We had great conversations with Joseph, the hotel manager - a kind-hearted person, and also with Ramesh, part of the staff, who was very kind to explain to us different aspects of the Indian culture. Sounds like a fairytale but it actually happened and we will definitely come back here if we get the chance!

We’ve enjoyed every single minute at the Fort Bungalow! The kindness of Joseph and his wife, the entire family and the staff was touching. So grateful to have meet you all, such a good energy! The entire family house is incredible, well decorated, beds are sooo comfortable, everything was perfect.

Gorgeous setting, beautiful bungalow, classic, luxurious, and comfortable. The hospitality was first rate and included many small touches such as a warm washcloth on arrival. The food was easily the best I’ve had in India thus far, and there is an option to dine alone or with fellow guests. Afternoon tea was delightful, and breakfast was served outdoors in the garden. Just fabulous.
