The host, Channaraj is the grandson of Giriappa Gowder, who bought the 950 acre Tea Estate from Kay's family. They are core Tea planters and have always lived close to nature and will ensure that you leave with a passion for the blessed land of Nilgiris.

Kay's Bungalow, situated in divine Infinity Valley is probably the most unique property in Kotagiri . Situated atop a mountain it has 360 degree views of an Emerald green cleft valley and cascading waterfalls in the backyard. It is surrounded by tea gardens and there is an operating tea factory that you can visit to learn about how Tea powder is made. The property is an old colonial era bungalow that used to be the plantation lodge for Kay's family, where they entertained their British guests. The Estate had the typical cattle sheds , a vast courtyard and is made from stone which provide it a rustic look. Most aspects of the original Bungalow have been maintained in it's vintage state. The property also served as a hunting lodge as Kotagiri is a great spot for wildlife and bird spotting.
