This place is perfect if you want a quiet escape in beautiful surroundings. We had the Tranquility room, which is so nicely decorated and has two terraces, wow. The front terrace is shared but the rear terrace is private. Loved hearing all the morning birdsong sitting outside. The room is super clean, loved the bed. There are a couple hammocks on the grounds. We left before the breakfast time but they made us something simple. Credit cards accepted with no surcharge.

As the summer heat became unbearable, we looked for a peaceful escape and found exactly that at Memories at the Blue Mountain in Kotagiri. The property is beautifully located amidst tea estates, away from the crowds and surrounded by greenery. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with large balconies overlooking the tea gardens. What truly made our stay special, however, was the hospitality of Mr. Sajan George and his wife. They welcomed us like family and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The home-cooked food was excellent, with every meal offering something different and delicious. We also loved the friendly animals around the property, especially Pluto, the energetic Golden Retriever. This was much more than just a stay—it was a warm and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, nature, and genuine hospitality in Kotagiri.

Beautiful stay with a slice of Kashmir

Beautiful and charming historical place in a quiet area with lovely views. The staff was helpful, efficient and kind. The manager was so kind as to include me into their Pongal (Thanksgiving) celebrations which was fabulous!
