Lodge Paraíso Verde exceeded every expectation I had. This was one of the most memorable places I've stayed in Colombia. The food was simply outstanding — honestly the most delicious food I had during my travels in Colombia. Every meal was fresh, ingredients picked from the jotels very own garden and clearly prepared with care. What truly makes this place special, though, is the incredible natural setting. Everywhere you look there is lush greenery, stunning trees, beautiful waterfalls, and fascinating wildlife. I was amazed by the sheer abundance of nature all around us. We stayed in one of the cabins, and it felt like being completely immersed in the forest. Waking up surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature was an unforgettable experience. This place absolutely blew my mind. If you're looking to disconnect from the city and experience the beauty of Colombia's natural environment, I cannot recommend Lodge Paraíso Verde highly enough.

Our cabin, only one of two on the huge property is exquisitely designed with a real attention to detail. The view of the beautiful surroundings from the room is fabulous. The staff are extremely helpful. The food is great. All that and hummingbirds eating from your hands. I cannot recommend the place more.

This is a spectacular reserve where you feel tucked away in the forest. You will wake up to the calls of the Common Potoo outside your window, but be greeted by fresh coffee (picked and roasted on site) when you wander out your door. The property is beautiful, simple, comfortable, and incredibly thoughtfully designed. If you are a birder, you MUST stay here. Fernando will guide you expertly through the forest and tailor his guidance to your experience level. One of our favorite places we’ve ever birded. And the food was absolutely delicious.

This place is beyond beautiful. The rooms are a perfect blend of design and nature, and super comfortable. Had a very restful night and woke up to the sound of birds. Each room has a small pool and is super independent. Carolina the host really makes you feel at home!
