Arakarí is new, beautiful, and clean, made of local materials using sustainable construction. We felt a sense of calm on the property. You can see a variety of birds (toucans, tanagers, hummingbirds) from the large balcony. Breakfast was healthy, and delicious. Mattress, comforter, and pillows were comfortable. The staff was very helpful, pointing us in the right direction and arranging activities for us — from swimming to a cacao tour, birding, and yoga.

The place is wonderful for disconnecting—there’s so much to visit nearby. The house is comfortable, but make sure to keep the doors and windows closed, as there are many animals around. The staff is very helpful. It's a great place and highly recommended for a weekend stay. Our house had a natural pool, and we loved it!
