Cabins in Copey

I loved the food, it was a pleasure each of the gastronomic moments. There are river and forest walkings to go and a variety of activities to plan around the place.

The land and the gardens are amazing. The views from the balcony were also great, specially for birdwatching. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was kind and very focused on the details.

The hotel is in a fabulous spot high in the mountain cloud forest near the Quetzales National Park. The views and walks from the hotel are superb. The cabins are simple but perfect for the environment. A log fire in the lodge and heaters in the cabins keep you warm at night. The views, trees, flowers and of course birds keep your hearts warm during the day. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is just the sort of hearty fare you need at this altitude.

Beautiful garden area, comfortable beds, great location for hiking and bird watching. I also took in the Copey winery tour, which was awesome.

What an absolute dream of a find! We were in a pinch after a last minute cancellation by another owner. Las Veraneras took us in short notice and provided amazing service. We were blown away by the attentiveness of this family-run hotel. Spacious rooms, secure, clean, and friendly staff. This is a new business and, as frequenters of this beautiful little town, we were so impressed and cannot wait to return!
