The lodge is a beautiful, unique design which enhances the experience of the gorgeous natural surroundings. It is a tropical paradise with opportunities to explore and learn. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are simple but elegant. The food was excellent.

Maritza was a wonderful host, courteous and welcoming! We rented three rooms, and they were all very clean and comfortable. We loved the apartment and were able to use the kitchen facilities as needed for my aunt who has diabetes and for all of the food needs of our group. She also recommended a couple of local, tasty eateries for our group. Maritza was so warm with the elders in our group, and responsive when we left a pair of shoes, and found them so we could return to pick them up. I would recommend!

We stayed in Congo 2, which seemed to be brand new: it was really comfortable and spotlessly clean, with excellent kitchen facilities and a great bathroom. The views of the jungle are lovely and we saw lots of birds, particularly scarlet macaws - a large group were in the tree right next to the room. We had access to a pool a few metres away, with a jacuzzi pool, as well as the large main pool at reception. The local town has several supermarkets, so we were able to buy food to eat in while looking out at the jungle views. Breakfast was excellent: fruit and juice, followed by a choice of typical Costa Rican gallo pinto or eggs with toast, all served with unlimited coffee. We only stayed one night as we were breaking up a longer journey, but it was a great choice for a relaxing stopover.

location is great. Thank you to the owner for the great attention. we travel as a family for one night to scape from the city , this place is ok , do not expect luxury . near to a lagoon , so you will have always frogs and other animals around. Bring some earplugs for better comfort , the noise of the frogs could be very noisy and loud. We travel with 2 dogs , they were welcome , thanks for that.

The place is beautiful, such an amazing view! Our room was spacious and clean, the shower was huge, the beds were comfortable. Federico was very nice and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was really good too, and it was lovely to have our morning coffee with such a great view. Lots of monkeys too! The kids enjoyed the little pool and seeing the monkeys. The whole place felt like a piece of nature and we loved every minute of our stay.
