This is a beautiful hideaway tucked in a peaceful setting. Breakfast was delicious. Front desk helped with booking excursions and gave great suggestions. They were extremely helpful when our flight was delayed and we had to change booking. Great communication.

We absolutely loved this place! The bed was comfortable. The location is great, close to coffee tours, shops, and La Fortuna waterfall. They have a restaurant on site which is very affordable and they provide delicious food, smoothies and cocktails. We saw many wild animals while we were eating because they put food for them near the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious as well. They offer fruits, coffee/tea, fresh juice, and 3 different options for breakfast (traditional/eggs & toast/ pancakes). The staff was very friendly as well. There is also a butterfly house guests can visit for free.

Everything was great, family business running their Lodge with so much love. They were very welcoming and flexible to accommodate us. Our stay was fabulous, we saw sloths in the forest right next to our room and heard the forest night life, fabulous experience! We had everything we needed for our night there, highly recommended! Small attentions worth everything, would definitely come again.

Had an awesome visit! There are SO many great sodas and places to eat at in town, we didn't necessarily want to pay for included breakfast. The kitchenette was perfect, and we could re-heat leftovers etc, but it really felt more like staying at our own place. We hardly saw another person (staff or guests, but we know they were there!) the whole time, and it was so peaceful. Staff was very responsive to questions via Whatsapp, and the instructions for getting in and out of the gate/ parking area/ keys etc were very clear.

The hot tub after a long day hiking was the best! The shower was also great!

This place is excellent 👌... Private and Relaxing. The owner is awesome!! Our stay in Sol y Luna Chalet was very comfortable!! ...very close to restaurants and attractions... I recommend this place if you want to have a very clean and beautiful place to stay at la Fortuna..
