Property was clean and small small things were taken care of. We were allotted a basement apartment, we had our own apprehensions about it, but USP was the veranda, which was private enough, and was surrounded by large stones giving it authentic look. Nearby area of the property is also well managed, with possibility to host friends for a meal outside. Moreover we were given guest cards, with which we could gain free entry (for 3 hours) to nearby spa. Kudos to the hosts, for their magnificent job.

This was a beautifully designed and decorated accommodation obviously by people with a flair for art and architecture. There was a kitchen available and we were going to cook our meal but we were travelling by bicycle and too tired to ride into town to buy provisions so luckily there was a restaurant nearby. My partner is celiac so luckily they did have something on the menu for her. I had left my reading glasses behind and the host kindly offered to send them back home to Canada for me.

Mühlen Chalet is located in Titisee-Neustadt, just 20 miles from Freiburg Cathedral and 21 miles from Freiburg Central Station. The apartment features both Wifi and private parking free of charge.

Schwarzwald Lodge Inselklause is a recently renovated vacation home in Schönwald where guests can make the most of the garden and shared lounge.
