This location is absolutely stunning, it truly felt like a peaceful escape into the heart of the British countryside. We loved watching the fish swim lazily in the lake while having a picnic. The sheep relaxing behind us while we relaxed in the wood fired hot tub. The bird songs which filled the air while we walked through the woods and fields. The lodge itself is just as beautiful on the inside, boasting a wonderfully rustic, wooden charm while remaining spotlessly clean and well-maintained... We already can't wait to visit again!

Lovely welcome from the hostess. The lodge was everything we needed, we were attending a local event so location was perfect. The lodge was beautiful. Private space, lots of little extras supplied by Becky, Bed nice and comfortable,air con was a godsend this weekend!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The windows can be opened by the guest, unlike those in many hotels today. A kettle, tea and coffee making supplies are provided.
