I really liked this hotel. It's a bit out of center, but the tube station is only a few blocks away and that's why the place isn't as expensive as other London hotels. The area is nice. The staff is really nice. The lady who checked me in helped me with my luggage and stayed to explain how the A/C worked. The bed was comfortable and though I stayed in one of the smallest rooms, I still had room to do a bit of yoga. Good wifi. I really have no complaints.

Probably the best hostel in London, the best I've ever stayed at anyway. A hostel? More like being a guest in a country mansion. The staff are exceptionally helpful, patient and kind. Every element has been thought out - every guest suggestion acted on and improved. The beds have curtains and privacy. Rooms are spacious, not cramped like most London hostels. Every nook and cranny is kept exceptionally clean. The furniture and finishings are quality, luxurious and well maintained. The area itself is great, close to Finchley Road, a walk to Camden and a good neighbourhood in North London. Prices are totally accessible. Many guests return and stay regularly. Palmers Swiss Cottage provides a real service to travellers. If it ever closed down, it would be a true loss to London visitors.

Located in Kensington, just 15 minutes’ walk from Hyde Park, London Lodge offers elegant rooms with satellite TV. Earl’s Court Underground Station is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
