The location was amazing, we had booked the room with the shared bathroom but we asked at the desk for a private one and she just charged us the difference and it’s well worth it. The cleanliness was also really good

Probably the best hostel in London, the best I've ever stayed at anyway. A hostel? More like being a guest in a country mansion. The staff are exceptionally helpful, patient and kind. Every element has been thought out - every guest suggestion acted on and improved. The beds have curtains and privacy. Rooms are spacious, not cramped like most London hostels. Every nook and cranny is kept exceptionally clean. The furniture and finishings are quality, luxurious and well maintained. The area itself is great, close to Finchley Road, a walk to Camden and a good neighbourhood in North London. Prices are totally accessible. Many guests return and stay regularly. Palmers Swiss Cottage provides a real service to travellers. If it ever closed down, it would be a true loss to London visitors.

I like the friendly, outgoing and helpful atmosphere there. The staff and the guests were kind, sociable and willing to talk allt the time. They all follow the rules which is very good

The location is great a couple of blocks from all the the sightseeing. They offer complementary breakfast which is very complete. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful and friendly from the girls at the recepción to the cleaning lady, we can’t be more thankful, thanks for such a pleasant stay.

All the staff were very nice - so patient, helpful and friendly. It was my first time travelling alone and staying in London, and the hostel made me feel so comfortable. I wiil always be grateful! ❤️

The staff was very friendly and respectful, the place was clean and tidy and the beds are pretty comfortable. It's less than a minute away from Borough underground station so it has a very convenient location. It was a great stay!

Stayed in the 6-beds room. Everything really well put together - from the reception to the rooms, common areas, and I don’t get why people complain about the shower inside the room, for me there is enough space to use it (it’s true tho that the open area makes everything get wet). Location 10/10, next to bus stop and two tube stations.

Staff are amazing, facilities are clean, beds are comfy, location is unbeatable. Couldn't have found a better spot!
