Cabins in Habarana

A lovely new hotel in a beautiful location. The room was excellent value for money. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Habarana.

Nicest family in Sri Lanka and the best food we had on our entire trip. Lovely setting, good rooms, and very helpful.

Madu (the owner) was a sweetheart! So nice and smiling all the time! She tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. (sorry if I've spelled the name wrongly) The location of the property is off the main road, so this could be a problem for someone who doesn't have a car. It's not a big distance but at night it's really dark so it could be uncomfortable. The room was very big and clean. Breakfast was a surprise every day as our host made sure we had something new to try. It was delicious, though, so no complaints either.

We stayed a night at Tiara Elephant Lodge and it was so peaceful and mind relaxing.. The swimming pool was well maintained.. The food was delicious.. The staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant, specially Mr. Athula.. He made things very convenient for us... We enjoyed our stay....

Absolutely beautiful setting. Rooms had beautiful interior, very tasteful and artistic. Staff were great. Dinesh is probably the best F&B manager in Sri Lanka. He was on top of everything, extremely alert and proactive, food was amazing, really really good and large choice for breakfast as well as dinner,

Our stay at Rock Shade Chalet was a truly amazing one. The ambience was super special. The facilities are of high standards. The environment was very calm. A lot of birds, including peacocks, were in the garden. Lasantha is a very nice person. He was always attentive to our requirements. They made special meals at our request.

Fantastic service, custom made breakfast for cater for a vegan. Really lovely pool, rooms and a secluded village location but close to Sigiriya main attractions. Staff were absolutely amazing

The "Thick Forest" situated in a great location near the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (Lion Rock) provides easy access to key attraction, including Pidurangala Rock for panoramic views. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed newly constructed swimming pool facilities.

Incredible place to stay! The room was very clean and the shower worked great with consistent hot water. The food was unbelievably good and the owners and their son are super friendly. It was a real pleasure to be able to stay here for a bunch of nights and would definitely stay again!

Such a cute hut and a very comfortable stay. There is a large garden and very pretty surrounds. The hosts were very welcoming and showed me some of the garden and made a delicious Sri Lankan dinner. Very good stay, would stay again.

The food was very delicious and the room was very comfortable. It is great value for the price. We stayed for one day and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is also very convenient. Sigiriya Rock, Pidurangala Rock, and the Sigiriya kayaking area are all nearby, which makes it a great place to stay when exploring the area. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sigiriya.

I had an amazing stay at Atha Tree House! In the given price range, they provided a free breakfast, which was very delicious. I also ordered dinner, and it was both tasty and great value for money. The highlight of my stay was hearing elephants walking under the treehouse at night—an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend this place for nature lovers.

Super friendly owner, clear communication upfront. Nice breakfast available, with monkeys around. Hammock and terrace in front of the room. Safari was arranged for us and was very lovely and well organized. Great location to go see elephants in the surrounding parks and to visit Sigiriya lion rock. Would stay again.

We had a truly peaceful and refreshing stay at Kamatha Eco Lodge, beautifully located within the natural forests of Habarana. The room reflects a traditional Sri Lankan village style, simple yet comfortable, and perfectly designed to blend with the surrounding environment. One of the most memorable parts of the stay was the rich wildlife experience. We woke up to the soothing sounds of birds, and throughout the day we could spot various birds, squirrels, and occasional wildlife around the property. The natural setting creates a calm and immersive jungle atmosphere that is rare to find. The lodge offers an authentic eco-living experience rather than luxury, making it ideal for travelers who appreciate nature, tranquility, and sustainability. The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and untouched greenery make it a perfect escape from busy city life. The staff were warm and attentive, adding to the overall relaxing experience. Kamatha Eco Lodge is highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone looking for a quiet, genuine Sri Lankan eco stay.

It was wonderful. Very comfortable bed and pillows, gardens were beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and owners were very friendly. Simple rooms, but good wifi, hot water and large bed with good bedding.

Staying in the tree house was fantastic, one of the best experiences. Loved the jungle and feeling part of it. The staff was super helpful and made us feel very welcome, they offer so many unique activities (with fair prices). We never thought we would end seeing Loris! 🤩 Food was also fantastic, we wanted to eat Sri Lankan food and they offered us something different every day, always tasty. They accommodated my gluten-issues perfectly too. ah! and they even helped us sort out transport! We couldn't ask for more. I keep this place well saved.

Super nice host family, the owner arranged everything for us, brought us to the nicest restaurant we have been to in Sri Lanka: Sri Lien Restaurant, the cabin is new, super clean. Thank you so much again 🙏 highly recommended!
