Set amid a tropical landscape, The Thick Forest features traditional bungalows that overlook Sigiriya‘s Rock Fortress. This nonsmoking resort offers complimentary WiFi access and has an open-air restaurant which serves local dishes and drinks. Located 15 feet from the ground, the wooden bungalows have large windows that provide plenty of natural light. Each is equipped with a fan, mosquito net and private balcony. With a 24-hour front desk, the resort bicycle rental services, while travel and sightseeing bookings can be made at the tour desk. The Forest is 2297 feet from the Sigiriya Tank and 0.7 mi from the Archaeological Museum. It is 1.4 mi from Boulder Gardens and 27 mi from Hingurakgoda Airport.
