Cabins in Giethoorn

The stay was comfortable, and the owner was responsive. The boat ride to the lake was exceptional. We had a good time :)

I didn't like anything he is a very bad host

It is a small place with narrow doorways, yet somehow felt spacious with its two separate bedrooms and slightly vaulted ceiling. All amenities were available and accurately described. It was amazing to be able to dock our 2-hour boat rental at the chalet for a short toddler snack break in the middle of our boat trip. It would be easy access to bike rental, but we arrived on the weekend and apparently the rental place had no Sunday hours (Google led us astray there). We had to walk a mile to get our bikes (Haven133 bike and boat rental are very much recommended to all!) This was a beautiful walk and we didn't mind, but others may want to plan more carefully than we did.

My friend and I stay here for 2 nights and we had a good time in this place. Bert and Mary are very helpful to give us a lot of instructions.

Very an excellent place for staying at Giethoorn

Great location, host very nice and helpful, kitchen equipped with most of necessary accessories. There is a small warehouse, a barbecue and a terrace were you can spend a lovely afternoon. We appreciated the silence, the amazing surroundings and the fact that you can park the car in front of the house (so no need to travel 5 min by foot from the camping entry).

Fantastic location and a charming house equipped with everything we needed. The host was very welcoming and provided clear instructions. We also tried the café food, which was delicious. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful experience.
