Great beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Our room was directly on the canal with a wonderful outdoor seating and the restaurant was elegant and luxurious,especially since we are vegetarians,the chef prepared a special dinner for us and it was very delicious. This tiny house was clean and just big enough. Our host responded promptly with specific gps coordinates and pictures that guided us directly there. Free bikes were a huge plus! We also loved the "bubble" for enjoying the chilly morning.

Giethoorn is a lovely village to visit. We would definitely come back to visit again. We spent only one day there but next time we would stay at least a few days to relax and enjoy this beautiful village. We really enjoyed the boat tour through the canals. Add it to your bucket list if you haven't already!

Giethoorn is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have ever visited. The charming canals, picturesque thatched cottages, and tranquil atmosphere make it feel like stepping into a storybook. Every corner is postcard-perfect, and no photograph truly captures its beauty. It is a destination we will always remember and hope to return to one day.

Giethoorn is a beautiful old town, and has a lot of history...

Giethoorn is a beautiful old town, and has a lot of history in relation to farming and living off the land. It is described and the Venice of the Netherlands, but the scenery is definately more beautiful and more serene. We were there just before peak season and had a wonderful time walking around the canals. We also took a self guided boat tour and loved it.

This is definitely an interesting place to visit.

This is definitely an interesting place to visit. The guided boat tour with commentary was very helpful before we then walked through the village. We were fortunate that it was not super busy when we visited. A very busy time would lessen the pleasure.

Unacceptable experience.

Unacceptable experience. The bed was tiny and sagged like a waterbed. To make it worse, loud guests were screaming all night with absolutely no staff or security on-site to handle the noise. This is an unstaffed, unsafe motel, not a hotel."

Went early March and stayed for one night, not so crowded. The old part of Geithoorn is very quiet and charming. We took an early morning walk when the sun was just rising. The landscape, unique village houses, birds and ducks are just so beautiful. We also found out that the surrounding areas are big on organic farming with fresh produce and cheese. This explains why there are really good restaurants nearby the B&B we stayed. Spoke to the owner of a local restaurants who was so passionate about farm to table dining and bringing her knowledge overseas.

Very nice peaceful location, and a beautiful house with nice garden. Ideal place to relax and enjoy Giethoorn and the nearby area. The house was fully equipped and very clean. A beautiful restaurant is conveniently located around the corner but there are many more options on a driving distance. Our dog was also welcome and enjoyed the beautiful garden. Excellent destination!

The stay at the hotel was wonderful. The room was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff was very kind, warm and available for any request, and made us feel welcome from the first moment. The location is quiet and pleasant and very suitable for those looking for peace and comfort. Definitely a place we would love to return to.

Hotel is at a great location, in a proper farm, next to a canal. Not that far from Giethoorn center either by bike or by car. Has also a charger for electric car. The place was comfortable and clean. The room we rented had also a full kitchen, so we managed to do some cooking as well. Overall a great place to rest up during our road trip.
