The accommodation is a national monument 1907 and was used as a film set for one of the most successful Dutch movies "De Fanfare" 1958. The cozy, seperate house offers a lot of natural peace and privacy within beautiful nature. The house is completely furnished with modern amenities. Guests can enjoy a private terrace with lounge set.
Welcome to our beautiful location! We enjoy receiving guests from various countries and welcoming them to the beautiful, pitoresque Giethoorn. We have traveled extensively across the globe and have become acquainted with various cultures. We have a spacious, large garden with many plants, shrubs and trees. Gardening is a Ietjes great passion. Further hobbies include reading, painting, felting, eco-printing, walking and cycling. We regularly go sailing with our tradional Beulakermeer punter, or boat in the beautiful lakes.
The accommodation is located in Giethoorn North, located next to a bicycle and walking path. Here you can enjoy a peaceful environment with beautiful authentic farms, many birds, and beautiful views. It is located in a wetland area. Within walking distance you can rent a boat and enjoy breakfast and lunch in restaurant de Landije. The center, with its many bridges, cozy restaurants, cafes and nice shops is only 2 kilometers away. You can take beautiful cycling and walking tours in the area and visit other historical places, including Blokzijl and Vollenhove. There are various options to rent a boat and enjoy the beautiful nature this way. The accommodation is located in the Weerribben National Park. We wish you a very pleasant stay!
