Cabins in Caldas da Rainha

We had a wonderful stay at Bordallo’s Lodge and would happily return. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped, with everything our family needed to feel at home. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the centre of Caldas da Rainha, the park, shops, restaurants, and local attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring. What made our stay especially memorable was the kindness of our host. Orlando very thoughtfully welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine, cheese, and crackers. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a wonderful way to begin our Portugal adventure. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. Thank you for helping make the start of our trip so special. We highly recommend Bordallo’s Lodge to anyone visiting Caldas da Rainha!

The beds were so comfy. The home is about 10 minutes from town, but the drive is nice and the street is quiet and relaxing--just what we needed. The hostess was very accommodating with a few questions we had. I would happily stay here again.

We stayed in three places during our visit to Portugal. This farm house was the only one in a rural location. It was such a pleasure to experience the quiet and the stars. At the same time, we still had easy access to Óbidos and neighboring towns. But the main event here is the gorgeous agrarian landscape: an apple orchard, a long grove of pine trees, rows of pears and Óbidos beyond, Such a pleasure to open the front door and have such a beautiful view to greet you. Vanda and Antônio were very welcoming and great hosts. Loved it here.
