The staff were very welcoming. Upon check in, we were welcomed with some passion fruit juice that was delicious. The breakfast and dinner was quite good as well. The grounds and rooms were well kept. We really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet environment at the hotel.

Dinner was amazing! So taste! Especially we can recommend soup and pilau! Silvia really takes care of the guests and consider about minor things to make our stay perfect! Super clean! We really recommend this hotel.

The owner, Tausi, was very welcoming and caring and tried to fulfil all our requests and wishes. She was very helpful in organizing our bus tickets and other extra wishes. The food was delicious. Tausi is a fantastic cook who prepared delicious vegetarian dishes for every meal with a special touch. The property is nice, very green and spacious, and open towards the National Park, so it might be possible to spot wild animals from your verandah. The rooms are spacious, with a lovely verandah looking out into the green bush. A big plus is the lovely dog, Kuno, who is very sweet and loves snuggles. There are also chickens and cats running around on the property. Sometimes, Pumbas also come to visit.

MANTIS LODGE & CAMPING SITE features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Mikumi National Park. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a playground.

The lodge is in the middle of the national park, which is great. You can see many animals there before even going to the safari. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The wifi problem I read about in the reviews before I got there has been solved. There's now a fiber connection and the wifi is super fast now. The staff is super nice and helpful at all times, especially Nazareth. He even gave us a ride to the bus stop on his way. I can't thank him enough
