Beautiful property! The place has been done very tastefully, it's a restored gold miners place and you can see the remains of the past. The place is well equipped with everything you'd require during your stay. The host, Gerda is so warm and welcoming. Made my stay even better.

Beautiful location. Been very well maintained. Food was too. We are upstairs in the library. Have driven past for many many years, and have always wanted to try it out.

WOW !! Nature lovers Dream location with a lot of charm & fine finishing touches at this Lodge👌❤️. Exceptional Welcoming, Helpfull & Friendly staff. Stayed in Cobbles nr 6 with all & more than you need for a comfortable & relax stay. Pine trees at your doorstep, river gushing in the not to far distance & a nostalgic train occasionally moving slowly over the tracks with a "hoot" or 2. Enjoyed deliciously prepared breakfasts (more than enough food on your plate at an additional charge) at the Main House veranda as the weather allowed it. Was spoiled with two freshly baked muffins on morning of departure☺️. Premises are bordered by a river & you can take a slow relaxing scenic walk all along the riverside with plenty of beautiful spots & surprisingly stops. Trout fishing is allowed from two of the premises own dams. Truly a Gem 💎 in this area overing guests an Awesome, Peaceful & Amazing stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

This place was phenomenal!!! The staff was friendly, the food from the restaurant for dinner was delicious. Breakfast was plentiful, rooms were clean and the view was incredible.
