I can't speak highly enough about it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality from the staff. The food served was nothing short of exceptional, offering a wide variety for both breakfast and dinner. One of the highlights of our stay was the game drive led by Luvmore. His expertise and passion for wildlife truly enhanced our experience. We were fortunate to witness incredible sightings during our time with him.

This place is ideally situated in such a beautiful piece of nature. There are birds chirping, pigs walking around and most importantly - the resident dogs. It is the ideal break-away if you want to get out of the city and just have a peaceful experience surrounded by nature - perhaps a nice soak in the pool or a few long walks with your own doggy. Each chalet comes with its own braai area and fire pit - meaning you don't have to go far for your evening's entertainment. They even supply braai wood and bonfire logs at an additional charge (spoiler alert: VERY reasonably priced.) We were in Hornbill with our doggy and can comfortably say that the facilities and attention to detail well surpassed our expectations. The fenced off yard was more than large enough for our dog and made us feel comfortable about his safety, he also appreciated all the different sights and smells it had to offer. 10/10 would definitely go back again.

All cabins in Magaliesburg

Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

The host uncle Joe, was absolutely amazing, what a wonderful soul, we had so many laughs and chats, the dogs are so friendly and it’s a beautiful quiet cabin with an amazing fireplace, which is exactly what was needed. Really loved the stay, wanted to stay longer ❤️

Convenient from Jhb, nice cabins in the woods, sparkling clean and good attention to detail. Jeremy, Kele and Lucky went the extra mile to make our stay memorable! Nice food too!

Having the entire cabin to ourselves and the cabins are spaced out so more privacy. Due to the surrounding area, which involved a hill, trees, you got the feel of a luxury camping experience. The service was good.

Loved the cabin with its wooden deck situated in between the trees. Very calm atmosphere in the middle of nature. Had nice walks, lovely spa day experience. Also, very close to some very nice hiking spots which we loved; horse riding close by - loads of activities around the property. The food at the restaurant was really good. The fireplace in the cabin was great as we had a cold weekend, but it made it so cozy and even more relaxing.
