Thank you so much for hosting. I had a wonderful time! I haven't slept as well as I did in this cave in years. Everything was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The exceptional host provided instructions on my arrival about using the fan to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He was very caring, asking how I was and if I needed anything. He reacted immediately when I needed his help early in the morning, and was there within a few minutes. Great location, the city center is only a 15-minute walk, and a 4-minute walk is the Kafeneio Reisis, where the tasty, flavorful, delectable, heavenly food is.

From the moment of arriving, and throughout our stay, we were so warmly welcomed by Angelika, Anastasia and her mum that it felt like we were visiting much-loved friends or family. We loved everything about this holiday: the exceptional service, friendliness and kindness of the hardworking owners, the delicious fresh-cooked food every day (both breakfast and dinner), the peaceful and serene location with immaculately kept gardens, large clean and welcoming apartment with lovely views from the terrace, superb salt-water pool. There is free parking on site, and the accommodation is less than 1 hour drive from Chania airport. We were sad to leave, and recommend this place highly for both the restaurant and the accommodation. It is the epitome of warm Cretan hospitality, away from the tourist crowds.

Sundial Lodge is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in the center of Chania, a 12-minute walk from Nea Chora Beach and a few steps from Mitropoleos Square.

Everything about this place was just too perfect. Comfort and cleaness to the maximum(cleaning service for each day) and the location was perfect. Right in front of the Chatolic Church in Chania's Old Town. Waking up and leaving the accommodation just to meet the usual,beautiful crowd of Chania and by walking just 200m you'll be able to enjoy the infamous Lighthouse and the show of lights of it's every evening. Beside all that you'll also meet the kindest staff, full of respect and always there to help. I have only to praise how it had bits of everything and deserved every single cent... I want to thank the owners(Catrina and her husband) for their dedication and wish them all the luck. Recommend Sundial with all my heart!

My wife and I had a great time in this lovely accommodation. Marcos is a great host and an amazing person. He made us feel at home and offered us some nice recommendations, which made our trip better. The room, the bathroom, and the kitchen were all spacious and well equipped. The establishment also has a nice swimming pool and some amazing views at sunset. It is worth noting that due to the positioning of the hotel the air in the evening is a bit cooler, so even in the middle of summer we could sleep perfectly without turning on the air conditioning, which was a big plus.

We stayed for city visit , so the location was just perfect for us ( adult and child). Not noisy, everything reachable by walking even we had a car, we walked. Maria is just such a perfect host, having delay and eventually also rebooking of the night flight, she prepared fruits and milk for my little son. Groceries are just few minutes away. Haris was so welcoming and just remodeled the whole place. He has such a nice home and made sure we had everything we needed. There was water, coffee, a local bottle of wine, and fresh figs off of his uncles fig trees. The weather was hot in Greece but because his place is located near the airport in the hills, there was a nice breeze and we had much cooler temps than in the city. Our stay was wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place with amazing service and hospitality!
