So peaceful, with large campsites with electricity and hot water en-suite. Our hosts were amazing. Stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. Even offered to start a campfire for us. SeXaxa is 18km from town so internet is a little touchy, so as I had a work call, I was invited to the house so I would have a stable contention using there home wifi. Thank you thank you! We will be back on our next trip.

It is a beautiful, brand new villa, and it is lovely. We were able to book and pay for just our room, but there are 6 huge rooms with king-sized comfortable beds, great linens, a very large walk in-closet (in our room at least), with ample space and sufficient hangars. Our room had a sliding glass door leading to the pool—which we used on three occasions. The kitchen had everything one could possibly need to cook every meal (we didn’t because there are interesting restaurants in Maun). Best was Mary, the owner who lives minutes away and responded immediately when we needed anything—including coming to lead the way to the villa when our google map failed, bringing us lights and a generator during a power outage (we were here during summer/rainy season and had electrical storms at night). On our first night she took us all around town in her 4x4 to show us places we may want to visit and explore in Maun. This would be a perfect place for a family reunion, company retreat, small group tour. There are 6 rooms which can be booked individually or in a group. Plenty of communal space inside andoutside for a larger group.

Tony is a wonderful host. It was a VERY last minute & late arrival booking and he was very accommodating. The place is huge and there are aircons for the bedrooms and lounge which is great. There is no backup power at the moment for the more and more frequent power cuts being experienced in Maun, but Tony is looking at a generator or solar system to assist on this front. There is backup lighting for when the electricity fails and the Wi-Fi is on a backup UPS, so at least communications are still possible for an hour or so after the start of the power cuts. The property is extremely spacious and lots of thought has gone into making it comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with both electric and gas stove (good during power cuts), plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. I loved the hot-tub, which was great way to ease away the stresses of the journey. I enjoyed and will definitely be back.
