The location was amazing and the view was breathtaking! We overlooked the ocean the entire stay from our room and never closed the window. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a secluded stay with an amazing view of the ocean!

- Valley Church Beach is great. It is secluded, very clean, and has nice views - The staff people are all amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond organizing a trip to Stingray City for us on very short notice - The food is delicious. Especially at dinners, where the menu is rotating daily. The only weak spot was desserts as many of them weren't that good - When visiting Antigua definitely recommend Stingray City experience and "Bernie's Snorkeling Antigua W.I" for snorkelling

Stayed at Hawksbill Resort Antigua for six nights, the first time we have ever done all inclusive, but now getting older and requiring a bit of peace and quiet the resort suited us down to the ground for the start of our stay on Antigua, the resort is well laid out over four lovely sheltered bays with no high rise, plenty of space, and no kids running around. The food and drink options available were good, plenty if you wanted it at the right times, the wife was pleased decent wine was included, for me the draft beer option was a little flat sometimes, but spirits and cocktails filled the gap nicely. Would say the accommodation in places needs updating, the resort itself has a laid-back air that is rather quirky and rustic, which suited us just fine, the staff where attentive and cheerful most of the time, but appeared shorthanded some days, entertainment was put on most evenings and there are many tours and trips available through the reception, but we just wanted to relax, did request a romantic evening beach dinner for my wife’s birthday, which was a wonderful six course experience, as for Hawksbill Resort would say it was a lovely slow way to start our holiday, just don’t expect aal mod-cons hi-end all-inclusive.

4 beaches and a pool to choose from.

4 beaches and a pool to choose from. Great menu all day at the buffet. No crowding. Friendly staff. Beautiful views. Snorkeling and water sports options available but you may want to bring your personal snorkel gear as the resort's equipment may need to be updated. Only one beer option on drinks list.

The many beaches and surrounding scenery were my favorite...

The many beaches and surrounding scenery were my favorite places. The meal of choice and favorites were fish and vegetables. Fast food was available. It is very easy to get around in Five Island. The village is in walking distance and public transport to the town is readily available and minimal cost. I would avoid walking down in the village at late nights.

Beautiful peaceful location. Hotel grounds are shady and green and don't feel at all crowded. Various entertaining animals wandering around. Fantastic views from the swimming pool and Tamarind Tree restaurant. Lovely beaches with safe swimming. Some OK snorkeling around the old Sugar Mill point. Excellent breakfast, pretty good lunch and dinner. Dinner entertainment was certainly not boring, and sometimes excellent! Very nice rum cocktails. Enjoyed the complimentary yoga which runs twice a week.

Food was great and staff in dining area and around hotel was friendly. Need to have more activity around pool had to tell staff that they should have music at pool side. It would be good to have food trucks in action around pool and beach area like the one in St Lucia.

The location was good, their beach was clear and beautiful. The facilities were ok, could’ve been better and cleaner. The room was ok for what it is. It is not a five start hotel room, but ok. It should’ve cleaned better though.

very simple set up. Nothing fancy simple facilities. Everything you need but nothing more. Typical Caribbean hotel. HOWEVER one which is being refurbished so the facilities / rooms / bathrooms are lovely.
