- Valley Church Beach is great. It is secluded, very clean, and has nice views - The staff people are all amazing. Everyone is incredibly friendly and works hard to make your stay enjoyable. They went above and beyond organizing a trip to Stingray City for us on very short notice - The food is delicious. Especially at dinners, where the menu is rotating daily. The only weak spot was desserts as many of them weren't that good - When visiting Antigua definitely recommend Stingray City experience and "Bernie's Snorkeling Antigua W.I" for snorkelling

Breakfast was very good. Location was fantastic. We took an island tour from Chaka Taxi Service, which was a total rip off. When the staff found out what the taxi service did to us, they were as upset as us. They were wonderful.

Beautiful location. Loved the warm welcome of cold face cloth and a rum Punch on arrival followed by a personal welcome and explanation. Great food and lots of choices - 6 different restaurants to choose from . Food available from 6:30am till 1am next morning. Good quality, maybe a little bland at times. But catering for a lot of people. Loved the fresh cooked area - for omelettes or stir fries where you select what you want in the dish. The room with balcony overlooking the sea was perfect. We liked having a kettle sink and refrigerator. The electric buggies and staff were always available for a lift if you wanted them. It's a big site and slightly hilly. But beautiful to walk too. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We only left the site once to swim with stingrays. But others were off on lots of different excursions which you could book with the tour desk. Loved the 4 different pools. Not busy clean and relaxing, beautiful. Daily maid service available but we only had once as it wasn't necessary for us. But the Americans liked it. The other visitors were mostly from USA and UK. We met some lovely people, very interesting. Lots of entertainment available during the day and evening.

The views of the beach, the beach itself, the room, the coffee shop, the pool, and especially the little turtle sanctuary were incredible. The most impressive part to me was the food. Dinner felt as if we were fine dining with 4 - 5 star chef quality food. The other wonderful part of the stay was the customer service-everyone was so nice, friendly, and accommodating. We will be back!

Pristine Views with welcoming staff. The breakfast is buffet style and they have a wide range of delicious food. The drinks got me where i wanted to go without the hangover so i appreciate the premium spirits. The restaurants served great dishes as well. No complaints at all here especially if you are bringing the family you wont regret this one at all.

St: John is a small town very colorful and vivacious during the day, but totally dead after sunset. There are only a few restaurants open for dinner. The rest is totally sleepy after 6 p.m. On the other hand the good thing is that you feel very safe there when walking around. Different thing is if you drive there, because the traffic is crazy, expecially in the monring, and the streets are in a very bad state of conservations. But it is anyway an interesting experience to visit it. Intersting is also the Museum with the whole histoty of the island and the traditions of the population.

We visited Nelson's Dockyard - interesting place. Unfortunately the ferry to Galleon Beach wasn't running, so we couldn't walk to Shirley Heights, but we were able to go on a walk over the Middle Ground trail, which was waymarked, then down to Pigeon Beach for a nice swim. Unfortunately we only had the one full day - visited Stingray City the next day (not in English Harbour) - but there was more we could have done given longer.

Stayed at Hawksbill Resort Antigua for six nights, the first time we have ever done all inclusive, but now getting older and requiring a bit of peace and quiet the resort suited us down to the ground for the start of our stay on Antigua, the resort is well laid out over four lovely sheltered bays with no high rise, plenty of space, and no kids running around. The food and drink options available were good, plenty if you wanted it at the right times, the wife was pleased decent wine was included, for me the draft beer option was a little flat sometimes, but spirits and cocktails filled the gap nicely. Would say the accommodation in places needs updating, the resort itself has a laid-back air that is rather quirky and rustic, which suited us just fine, the staff where attentive and cheerful most of the time, but appeared shorthanded some days, entertainment was put on most evenings and there are many tours and trips available through the reception, but we just wanted to relax, did request a romantic evening beach dinner for my wife’s birthday, which was a wonderful six course experience, as for Hawksbill Resort would say it was a lovely slow way to start our holiday, just don’t expect aal mod-cons hi-end all-inclusive.

The water & shoreline views were amazing.

The water & shoreline views were amazing. Yet there was lush mature tropical plants everywhere. Grounds were very well cared for throughout the massive property. The golf cart shuttles were available all the time which was welcomed because of hills that meandered from Rasta beach to the water sports beach. This is a great place for families with children. But not much separation for adults or couples.

I love the Ocean view from my room, love the Oxstail dinner from the Jamaican restaurant, love the Pool, and love how a couple of the staff was so wonderful and caring towards the guest. One staff stood out, Jenin, she really made our trip to not be a total lost. The excursion was nice, Flava was very knowledgeable and the lunch prepared was great. I love my housekeeper, she really did a great job in keeping the room clean. My bed Sheets had stains when I got there, the Curtains to the Balcony had blood stains on it, the housekeeper, Yeraldan changes the sheets before I could ask her to. That was on point. I do not like how most of the Hotel staff was rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional, they needed some training on how to talk to and care for your guest. I do not like how you were assigned a Butler but did not get the help you requested from your Butler, not one visit to the room, it sounds nice but there were not one there for you. We got a pre written WhatsApp's message, once in the morning and one at night. I did not like the quality of the food, not good at all and not enough variety, did not like that they ran out of beach towels around 5:30 pm when I wanted to go to the beach. Even thought the Birds are wonderful to see, I definitely did not like the Birds flying and landing on the Table while you eat your meal trying to get them something to eat, also they landed on the utensils before guest comes in to eat. Not good at all. Overall, I could have made the food work, and everything else, but the behavior of the staff was unbelievable and unacceptable. Never again and if your Hotel does not train your staff, you could loose out on guest coming to your property.
