It was in a very quiet village. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming. His wife cooked for us and the food was all sourced from the mountain where they live. It was delicious and filling:) we played cards with the owner and he taught us how to play dominos (don’t expect to win though he has been playing for a very long time!)

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They truly went out of their way to make our stay feel like home. There is much to do on their property, and we felt so at peace in nature there. The food at the restaurant was delicious, along with the wine/raki. The rooms had a beautiful view of Mali Tomorrit, and overlooked lovely vineyards and olive groves. The beds were very comfortable, and everything in the room was clean and well kept. I couldn’t say enough good things to really give justice to this place. Book it!

I stayed at the Berat Castle Hotel for one night with my family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breakfast was absolutely incredible — without doubt the best breakfast I had during my entire trip. My family and I agreed it was the most delicious and authentic meal we’ve ever had in a hotel stay. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the cook did a fantastic job. The hotel has such a traditional charm, and everything from the hospitality to the food to the overall atmosphere felt genuinely special. This was truly a rich family experience, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I highly recommend Berat Castle Hotel for anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of tradition, great food, and warm hospitality.
