BelgiumWe had an absolutely perfect stay at Hotel Savoja with our two children aged 3 and 5. The hotel has been recently renovated, and everything feels modern, comfortable, and extremely clean. Our room was spacious, very quiet, and the beds were incredibly comfortable — we all slept wonderfully!
The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view from the restaurant dining room. It was such a pleasure to enjoy breakfast there every morning. The breakfast itself was simple but absolutely delicious and more than sufficient, with very good quality products.
A huge thank you as well to the staff, who were amazing throughout our stay. Everyone was welcoming, kind, incredibly helpful, and especially attentive to our children.
We would recommend this hotel without hesitation and would love to come back!

I was absolutely delighted with my stay in Pogradec, and the city beach was the unexpected highlight. I wasn't prepared for the crystal-clear waters and the wonderfully clean, uncrowded sand. It's a truly serene spot for a swim.
My favorite part, however, was the beautifully shaded, walkable area right alongside the beach. The trees provide a perfect escape from the sun, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds—relaxing by the water and then moving into the cool shade of the trees when it gets too hot.
The entire promenade is lined with a fantastic variety of bars and restaurants, so it's easy to find something to suit every taste and budget. Pogradec is a charming and relaxing destination that exceeded all my expectations, largely thanks to its incredible city beach and lakeside promenade.

Lot of local stores with local fruits, brad and cheeses in fantastic prices. The lake is extremly beatiful. The water is warm, crystal-clean and colors are so pretty. Food in restaurant is very interesting and in good prices. At the night lot of people are walking (in the summer), streets looks likes better than night club sometimes :D. Driving is "Alban style". Quite hard at the start but after few days it's ok.

The lake is beautiful to see, not gonna lie about it.
The lake is beautiful to see, not gonna lie about it. But let me sum it up like this... "it had a smell" I approached the water and immediately knew I was not going into that. So I just stared at the lake while having dinner. If I ever come back to Albania I would definitely skip this part.

10 degrees cooler than Tirana, Pogradec is small but lively. Only starting to becoming a international tourist destination so most of the beach goers are still Albanian. Fantastic climate. You still have a rather spotty energy supply with power outages. There is not much for you if you are looking for a Miami south beach feel (thank God ). Rose gardens, historic old town. Great produce and good bakeries.Too many glossy pizza, pasta restaurants on the lakefront but lovely coffee shops.

It is an wonderful city to go foDrr a short travel or normal holidays. The city has almost everything: lake of Pogradec, beautiful gardens with lot of flowers, the city is a good hub for taking other pleasant trips such as: Drilon village, Tushemisht village, the Monastir of Saint Naum in FRM, and most likally to pay a visit to Korca city. Many good restaurant and entertaining places to be there.

This is kinda the opposite of a hotel restaurant: a restaurant with a little hotel on top of it. A little bit unconventional, but actually worked pretty well in my case. The room was good for the price I paid. The location was excellent. The breakfast was decent. The mini fridge was a real beast, the beer I put there was ice cold in no time at all. They even paid for the public parking in the morning (Pogradec is surprisingly strict on parking), so I didn't have to bother. All in all, it was a nice stay.

Good location, great bathroom, cute and interesting hotel style. Room had tv, iron, electric kettle and very nice body gel and shampoo in style of hotel. Also they had really good breakfast.
