We were staying there over NYE and did not realize that everything closed. When Alejandro learned that we planned to eat some snacks we had brought for dinner, he insisted on cooking us a meal so we could enjoy our last meal of 2024. His kindness and generosity went above and beyond and was not unnoticed!

We especially enjoyed the quiet and comfortable rooms (sitting room, bedroom, and large bathroom) and firm bed and memory foam pillows. The grounds were so peaceful and filled with plants and an elegant backyard atmosphere. Some other reviewer mentioned the water pressure in the bathroom; I believe this was the same room we stayed in but honestly all it takes is a little adjustment to the valves and you’re in business. The entire staff was so attentive and pleasant. Jo stands out as a truly great representative for the hotel and speaks English excellently. The hotel is comprised of two historic homes; we stayed in the second home right next door to the main hotel. The main house (where the registration is done) offers a large work area and relaxing living room full of art pieces and very interesting architecture. My son will be visiting us in CABA in a couple of weeks and we will definitely return to Tigre and this hotel specifically.
