This is a great hinterland hotel, very charming and well kept! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room decor is a bit old-fashioned and traditional, as seen on the photos, but it gives off a charming vibe. Hotel restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast we had was really good! The entire hotel area is peaceful, views of lush greenery and mountains are amazing and the outdoor hotel area is perfect for a relaxing experience. The location is great for exploring the trails and nearby walking paths and also close driving distance to grocery shop, lake, beach and Klagenfurt centre. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they have made our stay even more pleasant! We would love to stay here again.

Nestled in a delightful area, the hotel’s surroundings invite exploration, perfectly complementing the vibrant allure of Velden am Wörthersee. The pool, a sparkling gem, offered moments of pure relaxation, its serene ambiance elevating every dip into a small escape. Breakfast was a daily joy, with an array of fresh, thoughtfully prepared dishes that awakened the senses and set the tone for the day. The rooms—oh, the rooms—were nothing short of stunning, each detail crafted to inspire awe, blending elegance with an inviting warmth that made leaving them bittersweet. We booked this place on Airbnb, guided only by the reviews. I didn’t actually read them. I just looked at the pictures of the room. The price, I’d say, was the best value of anything on the entire lake. It was the only place that really seemed to be on the lake, where you could actually do things on the lake, not just look at it. A lot of places you couldn’t even go in the water—no lake access, or maybe just sunbathing. It’s clear a lot of love went into this place when it was built. The whole property is very thoughtfully developed. There’s a distinct yellow and blue color theme throughout—stickers, signage, even the color of the boats. Even the e-bike charger in the bike room was yellow and blue. Yeah, they have a charging station for e-bikes. The umbrellas are yellow. The chairs are blue. There are tons of different room layouts, spread across lots of buildings. We were fortunate—I’d say we had one of the best rooms. It was a little studio layout with a small kitchen. The kitchen was simple but functional. Our studio had doors that opened onto a terrace, fully enclosed by dense ivy—looked like ivy, anyway. From the terrace, you could see out to the lake. And beyond that, the mountains. On the other side? Slovenia. Bathroom was complete—modern and all in one room. Kitchen looked brand new. There’s an espresso machine, but note: you might want to bring some favorite things from home—aluminum foil, plastic zip bags, salt, pepper, spices, etc. They also provided a nice little bottle of champagne (sect), dish soap, and some kitchen supplies. Our room was right near the sauna area—almost part of it. There was a sauna, showers, a small pool to relax in. A tiny fitness area—enough to get the job done. A breakfast buffet was not included—eggs, bacon (crispy, good). They also had: Table tenni, Boats, A DVD collection you could borrow - DVD player in the room.

Biker solo traveller. Arr at the hotel the wettest I can ever remember. But there sorted my wet clothes out. And I was only there one night. Can not thank them enough. Would recommend them without a doubt. And the location is fabulous. If you're into mountain biking. This is the place.or any biking.
