Self check-in, cleanliness, quiet

This is a great hinterland hotel, very charming and well kept! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room decor is a bit old-fashioned and traditional, as seen on the photos, but it gives off a charming vibe. Hotel restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast we had was really good! The entire hotel area is peaceful, views of lush greenery and mountains are amazing and the outdoor hotel area is perfect for a relaxing experience. The location is great for exploring the trails and nearby walking paths and also close driving distance to grocery shop, lake, beach and Klagenfurt centre. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they have made our stay even more pleasant! We would love to stay here again.

The breakfast was great. The room was the perfect size for the two of us and our small dog. We have a big balcony and the lake view was wonderful.

Great location close to the lake & along one of the main driving roads (which meant there was a bit of noise from the passing cars but that wasn’t really a problem). Nice balcony to sit outside on. We were lucky to get one of the available free parking spots most of the time, but when they were full there was a paid parking lot not too far away.

Central location, lake is easy to reach within a few minutes walk

Great location near the lake. They have a private beach on the lake. Larg clean room. Free parking. Elevator to higher floors. Fantastic restaurant for all meals. Host family is outstanding.

The hotel representative were so helpful and professional in directing us to the famous sightseeing in the area and all the time check on us to insure we are having a good time and enjoying our stay in Velden and if we need and support or assistance.we felt at home with their warm and exceptional treatment.

A top class hotel in a wonderful location. The facilities and staff were above reproach; the room was large, comfortable and well appointed. You would go a long way to find anything better.
