It is a great location to access many beautiful beaches and marinas around. It is ideal to have a rental car for travelling. However, it seems there were not many free parking areas around close to the beach/habour.

It was useful to have a Coles store near by, ie within walking distance. The Woolworths precinct was about 3 kms away. too far, for me to carry shopping. There were the usual MacDonalds & KFC nearby. I was happy to attend the Baptist church which shared the premises with other Christian denominations. The bus service to and from Proserpine was punctual and the drivers were prepared to drive passengers to their destinations. I found the local people very friendly & happy to chat as I passed them on my walks.

The house is so spacious and centrally located to everything...

The house is so spacious and centrally located to everything. The beach is just one block away and the playground which the kids love to go. The only con in the house is there are other cars that would park at the side of the house. Sometimes its hard for us to park again in our usual parking area. Have to park at the front.

I booked this room on behalf of my father. Communication from the owner prior to arrival was prompt and polite. We booked this room because as a previous local, I knew the location of the house is central in Cannonvale, a short walking distance to the shopping centre & Cannonvale Beach for a leisurely beach stroll and public transport.

Great location - so close to Cannonvale beach and accessible to all Airlie/Whitsundays. Being able to have our dogs with us (instead of putting them into a boarding kennel) was fantastic!
