we need to go to kangaroo island in the morning. This is a perfect place to stay the night before as it is 45minutes drive with no traffic. The view is amasing and the room is quite large. We wish we can stay there longer.

Very atmospheric old-fashioned hotel. Perfect, if you want to experience what it was like to stay in a guest house 120 years ago. Nice and clean rooms. Private bathrooms in a separate space. Fantastic ocean view.

Encounter Bay is a lovely beachside location with easy...

Encounter Bay is a lovely beachside location with easy access to the beach for walking or discovering what the coastal tides have to offer. There is plenty of parking for day visitors. It's a beach for discovery and appreciation. The sunrises are stunning. It is also a lovely place to observe several birds in their natural habitat and appreciate the protected nesting sites of the threatened Hooded Plovers. Encounter Bay is within walking distance to Victor Harbour along a dedicated coastal path, or a little more challenging walk (or drive) to the Bluff lookout. There are plenty of holiday accommodation properties in this area providing lots of different options for single to family holiday makers. Encounter Bay is the place to visit if you want to unwind and breath in the beautiful ambience, but it is also central to many other interesting Fleurieu Peninsula locations for adventure. Enjoy!

The ease of getting to the apartment, clear instructions,...

The ease of getting to the apartment, clear instructions, easy access to keys. It is a well catered propery, beds were comfortable. View was Amazing, most morning the six month old and I sat watching the boats go in and out. Plenty of Space in the 3 Bedroom Apartment on the ground level. Stairs are an issue for elderly people, but we managed. We stocked the apartment with out food and the full size fridge, dishwasher and cooking utensils made our stay easy. Only slightly noisy, but most other visitors were considerate of the noise as per the request. Pool is a bonus, not that we used it, but it was clean and very clear. Lots to do in Victor and surrounding locations.

I really enjoyed Encounter Bay.

I really enjoyed Encounter Bay. Lots of stores and the beach is gorgeous. I loved seeing the dolphins swimming and the beautiful horses and carriage. Lots to see and do and reasonable prices. A great family friendly place. Suitable for the young and the old. Can't wait to go back and hopefully stay longer

weather permitting its a lovely spot.....................lots to do good walks in right weather loved the tram even in the rain took the steam train but no steam engine disappointment there but briefly lots good cafes etc

Local cafe within easy walk.

Local cafe within easy walk. Easy to explore area from here instead of staying in Victor Harbour. Coastal pathway only a few minutes walk from accommodation. Bus service here but super easy with a car.

Encounter Bay is beautiful, quiet and peaceful for a nice relaxing weekend away. Watching the sunrise over encounter bay from the studio apartment was amazing. Local deli always providing great coffee and snacks and the cafe on the lake providing an amazing big breakfast!
