Amazing tranquil place. It seems magical, so calm. The decor is absolutely stunning. A relaxing gem that's hidden away. They also sent an email the day before to inform of what eateries would and wouldn't be open, a very nice touch.

Innisfail is a lovely historic town with all the basic services you may need in a regional centre with a beautiful riverfront and the best seafood business and tablelands fresh produce It is so sad it is inundated with the stench of illegal tobacco and marijuana and alcohol abuse with the associated social problems at night that business keepers have to clean up and turn a blind eye to Bonus tip take the mourilyan harbour turnoff to a great local bakery just a few hundred metres from the highway

To add to flying fish review -we found it unpalatable.

To add to flying fish review -we found it unpalatable. We booked for 5 nights but only stayed 2 due the fact there was no cafe at flying fish point although advertised. Also the staff were unavailable. Key was left with yard man as no one in office. Husband is disabled and it rained entire 2 days and when returning to cabin from car there was no mat inside to wipe feet on therefore floor was wet and hubby slipped over and injured himself so we returned home early. We are on age pensions and was trying to get hubby out of the house and it turned out to be hell.

Innisfail, well worth a visit, Wouldn’t stay in a cabin again at Flying Fish Point, own Caravan a big yes. A beautiful little Deli in the Main Street of Innisfail. Lovely people and food delicious. Fish and Chips on the river, I recommend, in the little Van. The girls are lovely.

We were only overnighting there, so all we did was take a short beach walk at Flying Fish Point, & eat Fish & Chips & salad very close to our van park, which was a very mediocre meal, I might add!

I booked three cabins for my family.

I booked three cabins for my family. Cabin 24's cooktop did not even work so I had to cook in my cabin. And the toilet bowl was dirty and stained and their was no toiletries provided (soap, shampoo, conditioner or body wash). Cabin 42 was just passable with the only complaint was the blankets smelt of urine. Cabin 1 was a bit modern but found that the bed linen and the mattress protector had stain spots and the florescent light in the lounge area did not work. Never again.

The location of this property was great, it is in close proximity to everythong we needed in Innisfail. The property was clean and well kept. The staff that I laised with in relation to my arrival time was super helpful and accommodating, on that alone we'll definately be using these guys again in the future.

The unit had everything we needed. Susan and Norm exceeded our expectations as hosts, picking us up, giving us a tour of Innisfail and driving us to dinner when our car was out of order. They were friendly and very accommodating, delivering an unexpected and unnecessary breakfast in the morning. :)

The room was clean and bed comfy. The location of the motel is outside the busy town area of Innisfail yet close enough to supermarkets and restaurants. Rooms are serviced daily which we didn’t expect.
