The houseboat is very roomy in a excellent location with great views of the river and birdlife from the back deck. Great towels, the towels were sumptuous especially for caravan parks, Great shower and bathroom essential., surrounds. Lots of extras for cooking oil, alfoil etc. Bedding good, bed a little soft for us. Beautiful views

What we liked the best was the modern building and its ammenities at the Murray Bridge hotel. The less attractive of the Hotel was openness of the ensuites in the rooms ( very noisy when in use). The river views were more than excellent!

We took a trip to Monardo Safari Park which is approximately 13 kilometres from Murray Bridge. This is a must do on your to do list. The staff anll care and the park is absolutely stunning. All wildlife are well cared for and they have given them the best life a wild animal could have. Visit the lions and enter the dome, this gives you an up close and personal look at these large cats. Murray bridge itself is a beautiful clean town, the Murray river is stunning and worth the walk along the edge. There are plenty of eateries & shops. We had plenty of interactions with the locals and everyone is very inviting to their town. Only only disappointed was we didn’t stay long enough.

On arrival from an overseas trip we wanted to get out of Adelaide and be more in the countryside. Murray Bridge is right on the River Murray and you can feel the freshness in the air. The whole township is very clean and tidy. The Luogo Coffee shop in the main street was open early and serving really great coffee. We all stayed for a second cup and some breakfast it was so friendly and welcoming. Just down the road from our Parklane Motel there is a very interesting Op-Shop. We browsed for quite some time and left with treasures. Next time we'd like to say a little longer.

Great hotel next time I would book a river view as city view was just overlooking the carpark but the hotel itself was exceptional. Hotel food was really good and just 5 minutes is the beautiful Murray River which is a lovely walk .

Murray Bridge was the site of the first bridge to span the...

Murray Bridge was the site of the first bridge to span the Murray River in South Australia. The bridge was completed in 1879. Nearby is the historic Round House which was built as a residence for the superintendent of works during the construction of the bridge. Once the bridge was complete it served as a school, post office, church and council chamber before being handed to South Australian Railways in 1884. A second bridge built exclusively for rail traffic was opened in 1923. To the south of the bridges is Sturt Reserve, a green recreation space which fronts the river and is home to the paddle-wheeler Captain Proud, which operates lunch cruises; and to the 1924 Riverfront Steakhouse. Within easy driving distance of Murray Bridge are Monarto Safari Park, the Old Tailem Town Pioneer Village at Tailem Bend, and the wineries of Langhorne Creek.

Excellent location good value easy access to shops, river and really nice hotel on the corner the room was clean and loved the balcony it was nice sitting out there with coffee and or drinks Courtney was excellent as they do most of the contact via sms and phone comfy bed big shower with double shower roses. We have stayed before and will do so again we were lucky to get the same room very 😊

Fantastic motel! Beds were very comfortable. Room was super clean, cleaner than other motels that we have stayed in SA. Kids loved the wi-fi and TV connection to you tube. Staff were very accommodating to allow parking for our trailer. Good location in Murray Bridge. Would definitely stay here again.
