We bought dinner from the Park Kiosk after ordering earlier in the afternoon. A great idea in this location and both dinners were very tasty with large servings. My husband raved over the magnificent lime milkshake he had on the second afternoon from the kiosk. The licenced general store was a bonus too to pick up a couple of drinks.

Venus bay is unspoiled and beautiful.

Venus bay is unspoiled and beautiful. Birdlife everywhere and wonderful walks nearby. Sunrise and sunset both spectacular. Reminds me of holiday places when I was a kid: simple, unpretentious and miraculous nature everywhere

Tiny, quaint little town with superb views.

Tiny, quaint little town with superb views. Had a good whiting and chips meal at the general store, and good fish burger at caravan park kiosk. We took the long but rewarding 4x4 track into the Venus bay conservation park and visited Talia Beach \ caves. Plenty to see and do. Apparently the fishing was good too, but we didn't throw a line in. You can hire a dinghy from the caravan park (if you've got a boat licence) for a good price.

Cabin was right on the beachfront, very modern and well appointed. Great views and nice walks. Walking distance to the boat ramp and wharf area, also to South End Reserve to see the large pod of dolphins swimming about and frolicking in the water. Fantastic scenery all about.
