The acccomodations were exceptional. We stayed in the 2bedroom suite, and everything from the kitchen, to the bedroom, to the bathroom was perfect. The staff went above and beyond with everything and made our vacation wonderful. We felt spoiled yet integrated (like locals) as it was nestled inside of a gorgeous neighborhood, and a quick walk to restaurants, beaches, wine store and coffee shops. Location was perfect.

Great location on a lovely beach. We had one of the “beachfront suites” and it was fantastic—so nice to walk right from our room to the beach, and the deck area was like having another living space. Staff were exceptionally friendly and caring, and the level of service was very high—the staff unpacked our bags, brought us coffee in the morning, arranged transportation, and more. A smaller resort, it felt intimate and homey while having all the amenities of a larger hotel. The food was delicious. We enjoyed meeting the other guests, too, everyone was friendly. The hotel is close to Holetown and not far from several restaurants and other beaches; it’s easy to take the bus, or the staff will arrange a taxi if needed.

I felt safe and comfortable in the area. The apartment was airy and bright yet cozy. Despite the hot days, the place remained comfortable. All the accomodations were to my satisfaction. The hosts were very thoughtful and always available when I needed assistance. I would definitely stay there again.

It was newly remodeled, nice tv with Netflix option, good ac in bedrooms, fan in living room. Louvers in doors for ventilation, grocery/bar across the street, could be loud on Sat nights. Great kitchen and bathroom. Rain-head shower. Noodles for the beach and beach towels. Washer and dryer! Vanities to put on your makeup in both bedrooms. Excellent wifi! Beautiful sunsets from back door!Super safe. Parking spot in driveway for 1 car. We already booked again for next year, because we loved it. 3 blocks to our favorite beach Alleynes bay! Rent chairs from Freddie! Eat at Jumas on the beach great food!

I love, love the West Coast, St,James area.

I love, love the West Coast, St,James area. Access to public transit, restaurants, big grocery store, all kinds of Botiques and restaurants, the Beaches, A bonus for me…I grew up and lived there, so, I am familiar with the neighborhoods.

The location was quietly tucked away and close to the most beautiful coast. St James as everything needed and is just so beautiful and friendly. 15 minutes from the town and a great drive anywhere being on the coastline.

Holetown is great, lots of reasonable places to eat aswel aa high end. The beach is beautiful but they have let too many boats and jet skis use the beach to park on which impacts the ability to snorkel safely around the reef. Be careful. We hired a car but there are plenty of buses to get around on. The chattel village is lovely with some nice shops for souvenirs but the best thing is the people, they are lovely.

Beautiful area. the beaches in this area are gorgeous.

Beautiful area. the beaches in this area are gorgeous. Waters on this side of the island are calm, compare to the southern part of the island. Pristine clear and warm sea. Public transport in this area is easy to navigate and very affordable, so you can do beach hopping while in St. James. we tried different beach each day. plenty of good restaurants in the area. you can try some of the fancy restaurants, but there are also cheaper options.

many restaurants, great supermarket at Holetown which is very near, great beaches and beach bars. Thunder bay beach club has plenty of tables loungers. Thursdays and Sundays great steel band played by Sunshine starting 4 pm. fantastic atmosphere. Next door simone's place you can get jerk chicken and pork ribs great luncheon spot. Yellow busses are often but very noisy so dont recommend taking them to Bridgetown or ostins and during end of school times. they are Ok short distances. Public busses (blue ones) great goes everywhere has air condition. Restaurants The view and next door Jerk chicken, Tides, randy ram are some of the more higher end restaurants and you can get food after 7 pm - may require booking

What an amazing stay at Sandy Lodge in Barbados. From the moment we booked, Richard and Angela were incredibly helpful with recommendations, advice, and guidance ahead of our arrival. The accommodation was perfect, with a lovely communal pool area, and we really enjoyed chatting with other guests staying in the nearby villas, which created such a friendly atmosphere. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Sandy Lodge to anyone visiting Barbados.

The apartment is great and the host to. Close to the best beaches in Barbados. The bus stop to La Cabane and Sea Shed are close by. Walking distance to some great restaurants close by like QP Bistro and the Cliff. And the supermarket is 10 minutes away by walking.
