Tucked into the peaceful countryside, the property offers a quiet retreat while remaining just a short drive from the island’s beautiful west coast beaches, as well as the restaurants, shops, and nightlife of nearby Holetown. Each villa is inspired by the traditional Barbadian chattel house and combines classic Caribbean charm with modern comforts. Thoughtfully designed for indoor–outdoor living, every villa features a private terrace with beautiful sea views—perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. Inside, bright open spaces, contemporary furnishings, and fully equipped kitchens allow guests to relax and enjoy the flexibility of a self-catering stay. Air-conditioned bedrooms ensure a cool and comfortable night’s sleep after a day in the sun. At the heart of the property is a shared pool, sun deck, and barbecue area where guests can unwind, cool off, or gather casually with friends and family. With only six villas on the property, West Rock maintains a relaxed boutique atmosphere that feels private, spacious, and uncrowded. Recent updates include the completion of a new two-bedroom villa, a fully renovated pool deck and sun terrace, and additional landscaping designed to enhance privacy, safety, and the intimate atmosphere that defines West Rock. Because of our countryside location, we recommend guests have a rental vehicle to easily explore the island. As part of the authentic Barbadian rural environment, you may occasionally hear farm animals such as cows, goats, or roosters—adding to the charm and character of the surrounding landscape.

Many guests enjoy this as part of the authentic Barbadian countryside atmosphere The villas are located near some of the west coast’s most prestigious residential communities, including Sugar Hill, Royal Westmoreland, and Westmoreland Hills. Despite the tranquil setting, Holetown—the main hub of the west coast—is only about a 5-minute drive away. In Holetown you’ll find everything you need during your stay, including the Massy supermarket (with a wide range of international products), pharmacies, banks, duty-free shopping, cafés, and a 24-hour medical centre. The Limegrove Lifestyle Centre is also nearby, offering boutique shopping, restaurants, and a cinema. Several beautiful west coast beaches are within a short drive. Alleyne’s Bay is a guest favorite, known for its calm waters, beach loungers, water sports, and relaxed beach bars. The well-known Lone Star restaurant is also located here, making it a perfect spot for lunch or sunset dining. For those who enjoy golf, the world renowned course at Royal Westmoreland, as well as Sandy Lane, and Apes Hill are all within easy driving distance. Because of our countryside location, we recommend guests have a rental vehicle to easily explore nearby beaches, restaurants, and attractions. The surrounding area offers a peaceful Barbadian setting, with winding country lanes, tropical landscapes, and scenic views across the west coast.
