We did not take the breakfast due to time constraints. The property is located just off the Old Town Square. An efficiency apartment with kitchenette, our room was very clean and comfortable.

Everything was amazing. We spent only one night (unfortunately), because we wanted to visit Chimay (which is very close, 10 min by car). Marc and Nathalie were so nice, that you feel like home. The place is very quiet, well maintained and so beautiful. The Nordic bath/sauna were awesome (and what to say about the glass of wine given by Marc to us?). And the caravan is perfect for a couple: very comfortable, clean and has everything you need. And don't forget to have the breakfast provided by them, with local products, it was delicious. Thank you Marc and Nathalie for our amazing stay!! We will definitely come back :)

Chimay was just what I needed for a personal retreat far away from everything. Great little city, very kind people, excellent food, and what I came for - deep woods to hike in, exceptional beer and cheese.

We were there to sample a bit of belgian normal life and also the Chimay motorcycle road races. We had an excellent stay. The beer is also excellent. However its strong so take it steady as do the locals. ' when in rome'.

We first came for a town twinning (Jumelage) series of...

We first came for a town twinning (Jumelage) series of events. The main reason why you may know the name "Chimay" is because of the famous beers brewed locally by Trappist monks, also it's cheeses and local sausages...you can't come here and not be aware of them! The town centre is compact, everything significant being within walking distance. The Castle is a lovely place to visit, and its ornate theatre is breath-taking. The resident Prince (Philippe) and his family are genuinely charming if you are fortunate enough to meet and talk to them during your time there. It's a friendly town, boasting a delightful cobbled town square where you can sometimes catch a musical group or modern brass band playing. It has friendly people and a great little market on Friday mornings. and there are enough historic and natural attractions around in the locality to make it a decent centre for touring.

Location is ideal for the motor circuit events,...

Location is ideal for the motor circuit events, unfortunately one of the restaurants in the Town Sq. has closed and Grand Cafe is only open Fridays and Saturdays, excellent food. The Casio bar/restaurant is good for food but service was slow. The area is excellent for driving or riding, still haven't managed to visit Chimay Monastery yet where they make the beer and cheese.

We are a small group of experienced bikers and visiting Chimay for the Classic Race. We arrived much later than expected, the hosts were great and made us very welcome. Great location and well finished modern villa. Just superb!!! Bedrooms and shower facilities were excellant. Lovely BBQ area and we made use of the external area.

We like almost everything, the decorations is one of the most beautiful house we have stayed. All the facilities are new and very well equipped. We love the indoor gaming & sport rooms. Outdoor activities are also very nice with private playground, outdoor games, promenades, visiting Chimay…The host is very nice and responsive.

Property had pretty much everything you needed (including two welcome free Chimay beers!); it felt like two properties joined together but that just made it feel a little unusual. Parking for two motorbikes was almost outside the front door, and totally safe. Would definitely recommend.
