There was heatwave and we have no airconditioning. Perfect hotel to spend the weekend and alot of space for picnic when it was coooler right infront in Arenberg. The breakfast was also delicious and they offer iced/chilled juices and drinks again perfect for the heat.

Staff was stellar, very helpful and attentive. My room was well appointed, comfortable bed, Chairs to sit. Bath area was excellent, not cramped, very well appointed. Breakfast offered a variety of hot and cold options. All was plentiful and fresh. A definite plus.

You’re in the middle of the City Centre. Everything is within walking distance. Our room was really spacious & we loved the interior. What we valued the most was the hotel manager who was there for all our questions, made sure we could store our luggage at the hotel after check-out and also gave us local tips. Even though this is aselfcheck-in hotel we never felt as such. Thanks so much for making our stay so comfortable.

Prime location. Very close to the center with many restaurants, shops and museums. The staff very friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast high quality food and carefully prepared. We were a family of 3 and the room big enough. Highly recommended. Totally satisfied.

I absolutely loved Leuven.

I absolutely loved Leuven. I went during the summer for an academic conference at KU Leuven, and it was my third time in Belgium, my second time visiting (having come for a day trip once before with family). I feel like I could easily spend far more time in Leuven because not only are the sights stunning, but the city's atmosphere and culture make it a blast to stay. I stayed near the primary Leuven train station, which was a wonderful choice. Leuven has a fine bus system, but as long as you're in the city center, it is incredibly easy and safe to walk to almost anywhere you want to see. In my time there, I was able to watch the World Cup on the public screens spread across the Oude Markt square, relax at an open-air cafe and chat with people I met, attend the local music festival and dance in the town square, and so much more. It was most definitely a place where you can go at your own pace and feel the community on every street. My only complaint is that there was too much to do and not enough time to sleep!

This is a university city. There is a plenty of students.

This is a university city. There is a plenty of students. Different kind of restaurants. Very nice old city. Everywhere there are a bicycle alleys. City is connection with others cities by train. Shedule is convenient for everyone.

A fascinating historical city, from the point of view of...

A fascinating historical city, from the point of view of both medieval and modern history. Well worth a visit, with the added bonus of being within easy reach of both Brussels(20 mins) and Bruges (90 mins).

We arrived on a Sunday and the taxi dropped us out of town...

We arrived on a Sunday and the taxi dropped us out of town as traffic is restricted on a Sunday jeez indded! It took 30 minutes to trundle our suitcases to the hotel. So, after that initial mishap and feeling like we were in the Truman Show, we thawed and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days in the city. Lovely people, restaurants and bars. Special shout to De Hoorn restaurant and Malz bar.

Such a great city that shouldn't be overlooked when planning your visit to Belgium. Has such a nice college city vibe to it that was a nice alternative to the very touristy vibes of Bruges and Brussels.

The medieval buildings were beautiful and everywhere was so clean. There were lots of restaurants with excellent food and good service. It was easy to get around walking and with our hired car. We also visited Waterloo battlefield and museum south of Brussels which was very interesting. The whole trip was excellent.

Town centre location is great. 200m from the railway station. It's in an old "golden age" building, not a flash modern build. Rooms have a 1980's air, decor wise, but were clean and the beds were superb. Excellent breakfast buffet, atmospheric bar/lounge/restaurant. Very good food. Good shower, good water pressure and as hot as you wanted. I liked the fact that the windows opened fully, not the 2 inch sliver you are trusted with in modern hotels. We were in room 430.

Room though small, has everything I needed. There was enough space to lay down and the bathroom is big enough to shower without any issues. Location is the standout, it’s across the road from Leuven Station. Additionally, it’s only about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of leuven with shops and restaurants all very near the hotel it couldn’t be in a better spot.

Proximity to Leuven Railway station is a big plus. The station has a huge paid parking which is easily accessible from the hotel. The rooms were clean but so were the bed sheets. Reception was open for our very late checkin. Breakfast was decent and good for the price.
