The Avalon was centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to see in Kyustendil. Beautiful downtown area to walk about and plenty to see. There was no breakfast offered, but that was ok since there were plenty of options to choose from within a block from the hotel. We loved the balcony that overlooked the streets and it was so quiet during the night (we left the balcony door open). The weather was cool so we didnt' need to use the AC but when we first arrived. The room was spotlessly clean and was very neat, and comfortable.

We asked them to organize a cab for us to the sequoias nearby and they helped us. Breakfast was very tasty. 24hrs reception so we could check in around 11pm.

Food was good and the pool was really nice as well as the spa.

Big room in good condition, everything works well. Hotel staff tried the best to speak in English with us! Decoration of hotel is traditional, even a bit old-school, and this is great, atmosphere is unique.
