The place was so cute! our house was better than the photos! The decorations were super cute and they had a dog bed made for my dog! There was so much kitchen stuff, we did not realize we could have cooked there! The owners have a cute little shop, and the area is very safe.

This place is a hidden treasure in the middle of the 37th highway we didn’t expect to run into. The whole stay turns into a beautiful experience thanks to Kristy and her amazing hospitality. The cabin itself and the surroundings are breathtaking, we only wish we would have been able to stay longer! If you’re passing by the area, you have to give yourself this experience.

Jade City is more like a stop on the side of the highway.

Jade City is more like a stop on the side of the highway. There are a couple of AirBNB's, Two of which we enjoyed immensely! Vines and Puppies and Jade City AirBNB. The Jade City store is filled with beautiful Jade jewellery and souvenirs. They do have free coffee but they do not sell food and there are no places to get food in the area. They also have washrooms there. It is worth a stop even if you don't stay overnight!

In short, there is nothing to Jade City itself except for the rock and mineral shop. No facilities (e.g., fuel, dining). The Cassiar Highway is an interesting but challenging drive, and the Cooks & Puppies Hideway is not to be missed as an accommodation.
