In years past we have enjoyed the meals at the High Five...

In years past we have enjoyed the meals at the High Five Diner. Due to staffing issues they had to change their set-up (no longer have table service) and reduced their menu. Still a decent restaurant, just not what it was. Sadly, time and Covid seems to have not been kind to the smaller communities in the North Thompson valley :-(

I would definitely recommend this stay. We had an apartment with a lake view that had all the comfort you need. You are staying right in the middle of nature. For us, the absolute highlight was the lake. There are SUP boards, kayaks, and swim rings available free of charge. We really enjoyed swimming in and boating on the beautiful lake. The park is a bit secluded, but that only adds to its charm. For us, this was one of the top accommodations during our trip through Canada.

Loved the location situated on its own out in the countryside and overlooking the river. Very comfortable suite. Super clean. Much better than staying in a typical hotel. The owner was away but kindly contacted me beforehand to give me some info.

The hotel is nicely situated along the river and close to the wells gray park with all the waterfalls. The staff is very friendly and you feel at home. Nice breakfast as well. So far the most welcoming stay in all of Canada
