Location, location, location! The bay windows are a wonderful spot to relax after a long day of sightseeing while still enjoying the beauty of Kraków. Hearing the hourly trumpet call from the St. Mary’s Basilica tower was an absolute delight and added to the charm of our stay. We visited the Empress of Ireland museum and would recommend it to all, unfortunately the submarine was closed and that was disappointing. Don’t visit on a Monday, the restaurants are closed in Rimouski

We could walk from the hotel to the many restaurants as well...

We could walk from the hotel to the many restaurants as well as along the waterfront for daily sunsets. We drove to the recommended attractions (parc du Bic, route des monts notre dame, Portes de l'enfer) With good sunny weather, we had a relaxing four days of local tourist fares

You have to learn French. Seriously.

You have to learn French. Seriously. I repeat, you have to learn a lot more French than the survival French you think you are good with. They speak so fast. They understand your shitty French but you don't understand them. Townspeople are very nice people. Bring coins for bus. Transit App may not work. Cell signal is bad sometimes. Take a paper map for free at Bureau Tourisme. Taxi is shit. Read Google reviews. Uber is unavailable, the app will try to match you with a driver then tell you there is a bug or error or no driver.

Beautiful small city with great scenery.

Beautiful small city with great scenery. Great restaurants and museums. Do not miss visiting the Empress of Ireland museum while you area the area. It is located 10 min east of Rimouski. Great museum!

The boardwalk and bike path along the river are very...

The boardwalk and bike path along the river are very pleasant. Some of the older restaurants in center town are very retro. Went to "La Maison du Spaghetti" and it was not only excellent food but it looked like we were sitting on the set of one of the Godfather movies. Old-style restaurant experience that was really memorable.

To be fair, I cannot rate Rimouski as I only stayed one night and just passing through. However I think it deserves to be discovered. We visited the Pointe au Père Museum and it was quite interesting
