Town is beautifully kept.
Town is beautifully kept. Residents obviously are very house proud and their properties are kept pristine. Some construction, but nothing major. Great spot if you are a naturalist and enjoy hiking and the outdoors.

Clean, comfortable and quiet.
Clean, comfortable and quiet. Small room but everything needed was there including mini fridge, hair dryer and a comfortable chair to sit on. I will definitely rebook this motel for any other of my trips to Nova scotia.

An interesting, attractive city with lots of friendly people...
An interesting, attractive city with lots of friendly people. We weren't there long enough to take in any of the tourist destinations. Just stopped for the evening while driving from Nova Scotia to Ontario. Would definitely think about making it a destination for a couple of nights in future.

It's a good overnight halt while driving to Halifax from Toronto/Montreal. People planning a trip to Gaspe peninsula could begin/terminate their trip here. Ferry to North shore of St. Lawrence River will be a good experience.

We did not stay long enough to explore the area but nearby...
We did not stay long enough to explore the area but nearby looked pretty as we drove . Also there was local hockey match and country dancing going on which looked like lots of fun.
Warning to those who want to cross the river. Expect to queue for 2 hours before for the ferry.

It has everything you need for a stop while travelling.
It has everything you need for a stop while travelling. We especially like the river path; equipped with seats & swings, very clean with an incredible view of the sunset. The City also has a nature park with walking paths

The hotel was beautiful well taken cared of and extremely well organized. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Starbucks directly in the entrance is perfectly convenient for early morning coffee runs. The restaurant and bar are wonderful great food great atmosphere.

Great location for shopping, restaurants and the highway.
Our room was very comfortable with a large king size bed. Pet friendly.

The hotel was new and modern, located just out of the central core, on the highway, but quiet. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and the view was great, overlooking the river.
