Beautifully decorated. Right on the water with a lovely deck and view of the bay. Very cool to climb up top to the steeple and see the town from above.

Located on a narrow strip of land between the sound and the ocean harbor. It was an easy walk to both. The restaurant overlooks the harbor. A great collection of traditional Newfoundland and US music was a great addition to delicious home style meals. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful; taking a photo for us and sharing a photo of an iceberg to look for in St. Anthony. We will definitely return for a cabin, room or campsite.

Great place if you are looking for a remote little town with...

Great place if you are looking for a remote little town with very few people. Perfect to rest and relax. Make sure you bring groceries or whatever you might need because you’ll have to drive a bit if it is later in the evening.

The boat tour of the body of water which 9000 years ago was...

The boat tour of the body of water which 9000 years ago was a true fiord was magical even in the rain. Both sides are surrounded with high cliffs with many waterfalls fed by snow run-off. Since it it hard to judge scale when there is nothing to compare with, the guide pointed out that a cliff we were beside was measurably tall than the CN tower. The water is crystal clear being fed from the mountains. One man we met later said he had been dropped off at the tip of the fiord and hiked out over 3 days.
